Löwenzahn Organics Baby Porridge is made from high-quality organic whole grains sourced from biodynamic farms in Europe. It bears a Demeter seal – the highest organic standard for food in Germany.
Wholemeal porridge is rich in dietary fibre which helps digestion and plays an important role in gut health.
Unlike conventional instant baby porridge, ours has not been industrially pre-cooked and is prepared like a classic porridge: just two minutes of cooking brings out its full natural flavour.

Traditional, not instant
In order to preserve all the important nutrients, the grains for our Organic Baby Porridge are only roasted and milled. We do not use industrial pre-cooking and subsequent dehydration in the production process. This means our porridge is not instant and requires two minutes of cooking like a classic oatmeal porridge.
Preparation instructions
- Put one heaped tablespoon of porridge (about 18 g) in a saucepan with 200 ml of water and mix well with a whisk.
- Bring to a boil on the stove and cook, stirring, until porridge thickens (about 2 minutes).
- Let it cool down to consumption temperature (37°C / 98.6°F) and add a teaspoon of organic oil (e.g. rapeseed oil).
- Put one heaped tablespoon of porridge (about 18 g) in a saucepan with 100 ml of water and 100 ml of whole milk* and mix well with a whisk.
- Bring to a boil on the stove and cook, stirring, until porridge thickens (about 2 minutes).
- Let it cool down to consumption temperature (37°C / 98.6°F).
* It is, of course, possible to substitute cow’s milk with vegan milk substitutes such as rice milk, almond milk or oat milk, as long as you have discussed these special dietary needs and forms with your doctor or midwife. When buying the milk substitute, be sure to check that no sugar, salt or vitamins have been added to the product.

We have high standards for our organic baby food. Our Demeter porridge is produced under strict conditions. But that is not enough for us! In addition, we conduct analyses on every batch at an independent laboratory.
Why do we test so much? Even small amounts of harmful substances can cause serious health problems in infants. Through our extensive tests for mineral oils, pesticides, mycotoxins or heavy metals, we guarantee to exclude residues and contaminants as much as possible.
