Our Organic Goat Milk-Based Follow-On Formula, designed for sensitive tummies, accompanies your baby from the age of 6 months, alongside complementary foods or family meals, and beyond their first birthday.

Whole goat’s milk and natural milk fats

The base of our Organic Goat Milk-Based Follow-On Formula is whole goat’s milk powder from organic farming. It retains the milk’s natural fats. As goat’s milk already contains palmitic acid, we do not add palm oil as an additional source of this fatty acid.

Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids

DHA* without fish oil: our Organic Goat Milk-Based Follow-On Formula contains the omega-3 fatty acid DHA* from plant-based algal oil instead of fish oil. DHA* contributes to the development of visual function in infants. The omega-3 fatty acid DHA* and the omega-6 fatty acid ARA are included in a 1:1 ratio.

Carbohydrates and fibre

Our Organic Goat Milk-Based Follow-On Formula contains organic lactose as a carbohydrate source, among other ingredients. It is complemented by organic GOS (galactooligosaccharides). The lactose and GOS used are derived from cow’s milk.

Our Organic Goat Milk-Based Follow-On Formula is made with ingredients from organic farming and without the use of pesticides or genetic engineering. Löwenzahn Organics is certified organic by the inspection body DE-ÖKO-006. Our infant formulas are also halal-certified.

**Babies need about 5 meals a day. With each newly introduced complementary meal, a bottle feeding should be skipped.

Standard solution: 13.2 g formula powder + 90 ml boiled drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink baby formula.

Preparation

Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool down to approx. 40-50 °C.
Add ½ of the required amount of water to the bottle.
Add the amount of powder into the bottle according to the table. To do this, fill the measuring spoon and wipe off.
Close the vial and shake vigorously.
Add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake well.
Check the drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).

What our customers say

Without palm oil

Palm oil is often added to baby milk as a source of palmitic acid, as this is also found in breast milk. However, because goat's milk already has a naturally high content of palmitic acid, our formula is free of palm oil.

DHA:ARA

Our infant formula has a DHA and ARA ratio of 1:1. According to EU standards, DHA*, an important omega-3 fatty acid, is mandatory in baby formula. ARA, an omega-6 fatty acid, on the other hand, is an optional ingredient.

Naturally an A2 Milk

Goat's milk is naturally an A2 milk, as it contains a high amount of A2 beta-casein (A2 protein). Breast milk also only contains the A2 protein, whereas regular cow's milk contains both A1 and A2 beta-casein (A1 and A2 protein).

Vitamin D

Babies absorb vitamin D* mainly through food (in addition to supplementation). Vitamin D contributes to the function of the immune system.

Interesting facts about follow-on milk

Why follow-on milk?

First infant formula and follow-on milk are very different. Follow-on milks are designed to meet the needs of babies after 6 months of age and contain more nutrients such as iron, calcium and iodine. In addition, follow-on milk is more filling than first infant formula. Follow-on milks contain two nutrients that make you feel full: complex, long-chain carbohydrates and proteins. Starch and maltodextrin are carbohydrates, while whey protein and casein are proteins.
