Our Organic Whole Milk-Based Follow-On Formula accompanies your baby from the age of 6 months, alongside complementary foods or family meals, and beyond their first birthday.
Whole milk powder and natural milk fats
The base of our Organic Whole Milk-Based Follow-On Formula is whole cow’s milk powder from organic farming. It retains the milk’s natural fats, including palmitic acid. This means we do not need to add palm oil as an additional source of this fatty acid. The recipe also contains nucleotides, which are building blocks of DNA, as well as taurine.
Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids
We do not use fish oil: our Organic Whole Milk-Based Follow-On Formula contains the omega-3 fatty acid DHA* from algal oil and the omega-6 fatty acid ARA in a 1:1 ratio. DHA* contributes to the development of visual function in infants.
Carbohydrates and fibre
Organic lactose is the sole carbohydrate source in our whole milk-based follow-on formula. The recipe is made without starch and contains the fibres GOS (galactooligosaccharides) and FOS (fructooligosaccharides) in a 9:1 ratio.
Our commitment: transparent quality
Our Organic Whole Milk-Based Follow-On Formula is made with ingredients from organic farming. The recipe is free from genetic engineering and the use of pesticides. Löwenzahn Organics is certified organic by the inspection body DE-ÖKO-006. Our infant formula is also halal-certified.
One follow-on formula from 6 months onwards
We have deliberately moved away from the traditional stages of “2”, “3” or toddler milk. Instead of multiple stages, we offer one organic follow-on formula per variety to accompany your child from 6 months through their first birthday and beyond. Find out more

**Babies need about 5 meals a day. With each newly introduced complementary meal, a bottle feeding should be skipped.
- Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool down to approx. 40-50 °C.
- Add ½ of the required amount of water to the bottle.
- Add the amount of powder into the bottle according to the table. To do this, fill the measuring spoon and wipe off.
- Close the vial and shake vigorously.
- Add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake well.
- Check the drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).

Why follow-on milk?
Follow-on milk 6+ is ideal for babies after 6 months of age, as it is specially formulated to meet the needs of growing babies. Follow-on milks contain more important nutrients such as iron, calcium and iodine than first infant formula. The satiating effect of formula means that babies can stay fuller for longer. What is the difference between Follow-on Milk 6+ made from whole milk and Original Follow-on Milk 6+? The Original Organic Follow-on Milk 6+ is based on cow's skimmed milk and is designed to meet the needs of babies after 6 months of age. Part of the satiating effect of the follow-on milk comes from the proteins it contains and another part from the complex, long-chain carbohydrates starch and maltodextrin. In contrast, Organic Follow-On Milk 6+ made from whole milk contains even more nutrients, is without palm oil and without starch or maltodextrin. The only carbohydrate source in the Whole Milk Follow-on Milk 6+ is lactose.
