Baby food for a lion-strong start to life
Baby food is specially formulated food designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of babies. There are various types of baby food, including infant formulas such as pre-formula and follow-on milk, and complementary food products like baby purees or mashed fruits and vegetables.
However, not all baby food is created equal. Organic baby food is particularly important for babies and young children because they are in a sensitive growth phase and their organs are not yet able to fully break down harmful substances such as pesticides.
Löwenzahn Organics deliberately chose organic baby food and rejected pureed fruits and vegetables from jars or plastic pouches. This is because pureed fruits and vegetables lack fiber, phytochemicals, and vitamins. Furthermore, the sugar content in fruit purees is extremely high. This does not align with our understanding of the best possible organic baby food for the first 1,000 days.

Which baby food when?
It is important to always consider a baby's individual needs and to introduce new baby food cautiously and gradually.
When to introduce pre-formula?
Löwenzahn Organics Organic Pre-formula is optimally adapted to the needs of babies after birth.
When to introduce follow-on milk?
Löwenzahn Organics offers organic follow-on milk for babies after 6, 10, and 12 months. Sometimes there are misunderstandings regarding the expressions "nach dem" (after the) and "ab dem" (from the). "Nach dem 6. Monat" means that the baby has completed the 6th month of life and is already 7 months old. The expression "nach dem" is legally required for infant formula. This regulation does not apply to baby purees.
When to introduce baby puree?
Löwenzahn Organics Demeter Baby Porridge is a grain-based baby puree. Our Demeter Baby Porridge Pure Oats is gluten-free and suitable for babies from the 5th month. Babies can only tolerate gluten-containing grains from the 7th month onwards. Therefore, we have adapted our baby porridge for older babies from the 7th month to meet their needs.
When to introduce bone broth for babies?
Bone broth is wonderfully suitable for the complementary feeding period, but also for family meals.
Löwenzahn Organics Organic Baby Bone Broth is salt-free and suitable for babies from the 8th month. Ideal for vegetable-potato puree, as a base for soups and sauces, or pasta dishes.
