Organic Follow-On Milk from Goat's Milk is the right baby food for babies with a growing appetite. After the 6th month, our organic Follow-On Milk 6+ is age-appropriate and satisfying. Important LCP (long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids) are standard in Löwenzahn Organics infant formula for the child's development. LCPs include the omega-3 fatty acid DHA and the omega-6 fatty acid ARA. As a source of carbohydrates, maltodextrin and starch are included in the formula in addition to lactose. The use of organic raw materials means, among other things, no genetic engineering and no pesticides. Palm oil comes from organic and sustainable cultivation. Algae oil (not fish oil) is included as an omega-3 source. Certified by inspection body DE-ÖKO-006. Halal certified.

**Babies need about 5 meals a day. With each newly introduced complementary meal, a bottle feeding should be skipped.

Standard solution: 13.2 g formula powder + 90 ml boiled drinking water = 100 ml ready-to-drink baby formula.

Preparation

Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool down to approx. 40-50 °C.
Add ½ of the required amount of water to the bottle.
Add the amount of powder into the bottle according to the table. To do this, fill the measuring spoon and wipe off.
Close the vial and shake vigorously.
Add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake well.
Check the drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).

Easily digestible

The fat molecules in goat's milk are much smaller than those of cow's milk. Proteins from goat's milk also have a different composition. They can be more easily processed by digestive enzymes.

Without palm oil

Palm oil is often added to baby milk as a source of palmitic acid, as this is also found in breast milk. However, because goat's milk already has a naturally high content of palmitic acid, our formula is free of palm oil.

DHA:ARA

Our infant formula has a DHA and ARA ratio of 1:1. According to EU standards, DHA*, an important omega-3 fatty acid, is mandatory in baby formula. ARA, an omega-6 fatty acid, on the other hand, is an optional ingredient.

Naturally an A2 Milk

Goat's milk is naturally an A2 milk, as it contains a high amount of A2 beta-casein (A2 protein). Breast milk also only contains the A2 protein, whereas regular cow's milk contains both A1 and A2 beta-casein (A1 and A2 protein).

Vitamin D

Babies absorb vitamin D* mainly through food (in addition to supplementation). Vitamin D contributes to the function of the immune system. *Required by law for follow-on formula.

Why follow-on milk?

First infant formula and follow-on milk are very different. Follow-on milks are designed to meet the needs of babies after 6 months of age and contain more nutrients such as iron, calcium and iodine. In addition, follow-on milk is more filling than first infant formula. Follow-on milks contain two nutrients that make you feel full: complex, long-chain carbohydrates and proteins. Starch and maltodextrin are carbohydrates, while whey protein and casein are proteins.
