Original First Infant Formula: From birth
  • Containing only organic lactose
  • With DHA* (Omega-3) from algae oil and ARA (Omega-6)
  • Without fish oil
  • Without genetic engineering
  • Palm oil from sustainable cultivation
  • Löwenzahn Organics certified by control authority DE-ÖKO-006.

Therefore a good decision

Organic first infant milk is suitable for babies from birth. Only lactose is used as a carbohydrate source in the first milk. Furthermore, LCP (long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids) are added for the child's development. LCPs include the omega-3 fatty acid DHA and the omega-6 fatty acid ARA.
The use of organic raw materials means, among other things, without genetic engineering and without pesticides. Palm oil comes from organic and sustainable cultivation. Algae oil (not fish oil) is included as an omega-3 source. Certified by the inspection body DE-ÖKO-006. Halal certified.

What our customers say

Starterpack-Pre_lifestyle.jpg
Lactose

Lactose provides babies with readily available energy and creates an acidic environment in the intestine to prevent the colonization of unwanted bacteria. In addition, lactose promotes the absorption of calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus from baby's milk.

DHA:ARA

DHA* (an omega-3 fatty acid) and ARA (an omega-6 fatty acid) are also present in breast milk and are important for normal infant development. For this reason, we have added DHA and ARA to our baby milk formula. According to EU regulations for baby food, DHA but not ARA is mandatory. However we think it is critical to base our product on the most on current scientific knowledge, that's why our first infant milk contains equal amounts of DHA (more than required) and ARA.

*Contains DHA (legally required for infant formula).

DHA from algae oil instead of fish oil

Pollutant-free DHA is obtained from algae oil. Furthermore, algae oil is more sustainable and tastes much better compared to fish oil.

This is how you prepare a bottle of infant formula for newborns:

Boil fresh water and then let it cool to 40 - 50 degrees. Fill half of the required amount of water into the bottle. Add the required amount of powder to the first infant formula. Close the baby bottle and shake well. Add remaining water, close and shake the formula again. The recommended amount depends on the age. Check the package instructions on your infant milk!

Important:

Use a fresh bottle for each meal of first infant formula and discard the leftover liquid. We recommend not leaving the bottle for more than half an hour. Milk, and even infant formula, is a breeding ground for bacteria that multiply quickly at high temperatures.

Baby bottle for on the go:

It is important to mix formula milk powder and water just before feeding to prevent germs and bacteria from breeding grounds. For a quick preparation at night or on the way, you can fill boiled water into a clean thermos flask. Then pour the required amount of powdered first infant formula into a sealable container. When needed, mix the water from the thermos with the powdered first infant formula, shake and check the temperature.

Pssst: Preparing a baby bottle with first infant formula is no different from preparing a follow-on milk.
