Enough with nursing tea - you're hungry, we've got energy balls!
You drink endless cups of lactation tea and wonder if there is another way to boost your milk supply? We have mothers on our team too. We also had the desire to exclusively breastfeed—and at the same time, the feeling that we never produced enough milk. Many mothers know this pressure: wanting to do everything right while often lacking the time in everyday life to eat a healthy and balanced diet.
Our solution: Really delicious organic lactation balls, with ingredients that can boost milk production and ready to eat – thus practical for on the go. No sugar. No allergens. With plenty of fiber for your gut health.
What makes a healthy diet difficult during breastfeeding?
Of course, a natural, healthy, and therefore balanced and varied diet is important for you and your baby. Especially during breastfeeding, your body needs significantly more of certain nutrients such as zinc, iron, or iodine than usual.
A little scene from everyday life with a baby: Hunger during breastfeeding can be intense. Then you tend to snack on whatever is close at hand—from a dry roll and chocolate bars to salty crackers.
Breastfeeding takes a lot of energy. At the same time, there is often hardly any time in everyday life to consciously prepare something nutritious. Often, you only have one hand free to grab a quick bite while feeding the baby. On top of that, many breastfeeding mothers also get hungry again and again between main meals and often feel exhausted by their new daily routine.
How many calories do you burn while breastfeeding?
Did you know that you need around 940 kcal for one liter of breast milk? Your body usually gets the energy for this from the fat stores you built up during pregnancy. If you are exclusively breastfeeding, you should consume an additional approx. 500 kcal daily for the production of breast milk. So, just as many more as you did in the third trimester of your pregnancy.
What are Malzbier and Stilltee?
You are probably familiar with lactation teas and malt beverages. Many women drink liters of lactation tea while breastfeeding their children and may also occasionally have a malt beverage to boost their milk supply. Drinking plenty of fluids is important while breastfeeding anyway. The combination of drinking a lot and simultaneously stimulating milk production is wonderful, but it doesn't fill you up. This is probably why you are still hungry and exhausted after a cup of lactation tea.

Why produce more milk?
Well, firstly, production doesn't go smoothly for every mother, and secondly, there are also mothers who need to or want to pump and try to get more milk out of their breasts. If a mother, for example, wants to share feeding her baby with her partner or a trusted person – whatever the reason, perhaps because she wants to return to work or for another reason – there is a need for a supply of breast milk to keep in reserve so that it can be bottled. Milk production plays a major role in a mother's daily life.
Can you stimulate milk production with pumping balls?
There are two ingredients that have been proven to stimulate milk production: fenugreek and nutritional yeast. They are considered important medicinal plants and fungi.
If nursing balls contain fenugreek, nutritional yeast, or other substances that stimulate milk production, they may increase the supply of breast milk.
Nutrient-rich breastfeeding supplement balls with no added sugar
Since 2020, we have been developing and producing Energy Snacks for Moms with a lot of passion and nutritional expertise. In doing so, we place great importance not only on nutrients that can promote milk production, such as fenugreek and nutritional yeast. It is also important to us to add nutrients that women need more of after giving birth. In addition, our Energy Snacks have become softer and even tastier with each production batch.
Once again, we have developed a product for and with mothers. Together, we worked on a recipe for our nursing balls until we were all truly convinced that we had created something even better, tastier, and healthier: our new Organic Energy Balls with fenugreek and nutritional yeast.
Best companion during breastfeeding:
- Filling with a fruity taste
- Yeast flakes and fenugreek promote milk production
- High fiber content for soft stools
- Iodine contributes to normal energy metabolism
- ALA (omega-3 fatty acid) for maintaining normal cholesterol levels
- Other ingredients: potassium, calcium, magnesium, antioxidants, B vitamins
We recommend: 5 lactation pills (50g) per day can increase milk production.

This is important to us: Sometimes they come from everywhere: unsolicited advice from the sidelines. But in the end, all that matters is what is right for you and your baby. The two of you will find your own rhythm – completely free from outside pressure. Whether breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, supplementing or pumping: Every path is individual and every path is okay. Listen to your gut and take the path that feels right for you both. #noShameInYourFeedingGame! 💛 |
